Our Story:

The company was originally founded by Matthew Fitch and his partner Kate Bailey in 2016 as a lifestyle family business focussing primarily within the domestic sector. MJF Electrical quickly became a household name within the region and alongside ongoing domestic work are now involved in prestigious commercial projects across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. The business has grown exponentially over the past 6 years, managing to remain operational and even thrive during the global COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, in just 18 months, the company expanded from a 2-person operation to a thriving team of 15 with a large headquarters situated in the historic town of Tewkesbury and regional branches in Cheltenham and Gloucester.

What We Do:

MJF Electrical are experts in the electrical sector, providing services to clients in Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, The Cotswolds and beyond.

We work with domestic clients, commercial and industrial business owners, landlords and property developers. We provide a full range of electrical services from basic socket and switch upgrades to large-scale renovations, rewires and new builds.

What You Can Expect From Us

Before:

Upon initial enquiry we will be happy to discuss your needs and the ideas and vision you have for your project. We will work with you at all times and make suggestions to ensure the best possible outcome. Subsequent to your initial enquiry, you will receive a fully comprehensive quote in which we will breakdown the costs for each item or aspect of the project. Once you have accepted the quote, we will schedule the works for a date and time that suits you. You will receive a text when our engineer is on their way and they will arrive in a clearly marked company van and branded uniform so you can rest assured they are professional members of the team.

During:

Once our engineers arrive at your property you can expect them to treat you and your home or business with the utmost respect. If appropriate, shoes will be removed at the doorway and your premises will be left clean and tidy after any work has been undertaken. Our engineers have your safety as their number one priority and, during the current COVID-19 pandemic, will ensure a mask is worn and appropriate distance is observed.

We will attempt to fix, replace or undertake all work at the allocated appointment. However, in the case of callouts, it may be necessary to return at a later date if we need to order a specific part or if the repair will take longer than the scheduled appointment time.

After:

If further work is required after our visit, you will receive a revised quotation and the option to schedule the return visit on a date and time that suits you. If all work was completed as planned, you will receive an invoice via email with the option to pay via BACCS or credit/debit card. If applicable, you will also receive all appropriate certifications and paperwork.
